Felicity Jones is a native of the UK and is primarily known for the actress who played Jane Hawking on the critically-acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. Jones has been an actor since the age of 12years old, has been a part of several TV and film series. Jones started her career as an actor by appearing in the television film The Treasure Seekers. In the following film, she appeared as Ethel Hallow in The Worst Witch as well as the follow-up Weirdsister college. Her first feature film Flashbacks of a Fool (which she played the lead role in), Young Ruth, she went on to play in various other movies. In movies like The Invisible Woman or The Amazing Spider-Man 2, she became popular for her performances. The most notable was her performance on The Theory of Everything that brought her an Oscar for the first time. Jones her portrayal of Stephen Hawking's wife in this biopic based on his life, was praised both by viewers and critics. Jones was later seen in Inferno a thriller starring Tom Hanks. In 2016 the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles named Jones to be the British Artist of The Year because of her talents and contribution to cinema.
