Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actress who has been praised for her leading roles in a variety of television shows and for her enthralling acting in films. There is a huge fanbase both on American and Canadian TV. Emily was first interested in acting when she saw her sister Katie performing in a film. She started taking classes in acting and auditioning following realizing she was passionate about acting. After a few successful commercials she was quickly cast in the Canadian children's horror television show Are You scared of Dark? In one scene, she appeared without speaking any words. The actress got her first big break at 15, when she got a role as a regular on the WB program Glory Days. Emily's acting talent was noticed by Greg Berlanti after the series was cancelled after nine short episodes. The show's creator cast Emily as a character on Everwood, his new TV show. Emily, who is also a ballerina and photographer was praised by Teen magazine as one of the best actresses younger than 20. She was ranked number 51 on Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
