Katherine Heigl has opened up about being raised within "a the white bubble." She also explains how this experience has affected the parenting style of her adoptees who are multi-racial. She is the "Firefly Lane" as well as "Grey's Anatomy" actor revealed in a recent interview that -- when it came to the color of her skin, it didn't matter to her the way she looked, but after she spoke to her older sister, whom she adoptive by South Korea, she realized that society was different when it came to each of both. Meg was asked if she was treated differently in the times they went out with their parents, and the time they were on their own. Meg replied, "Oh, yeah, all the times! Heigl explained to Parents: "That was when I realized that my naivety had caused me to feel." The actor said she became frustrated, but decided to channel that energy in order to assist her adopted daughters. Heigl as well as her husband of 13 years -- the musician Josh Kelley -- have four-year-old son Joshua Bishop Kelley, Joshua Bishop Kelley, Jr. In 2009, the couple adopted Nancy Leigh (12), an adopted daughter of South Korea, and Adalaide (8, a black child) in the year 2012.
